Hearing people in a common hallway or the wall next to your room would def be a drawback.....also windows on one side of a building would be weird too!
yes, going back to Apt living would be beyond weird at this stage of life. doesn’t sound remotely appealing to me.
at least they didn’t have kids the article says - and this is multiple divorces for each - wow.
I think I’m one of the ten people in this country who have NOT seen that movie ;)
Moi aussi.
Well, get cracking. You owe it to yourself. It’s only the funniest movie of the 20th century and one of the most quotable.
I’ve been to Venice. I don’t think you want an apartment there unless you like dank. And it’s not like the canal water is clean or anything.
Nice. One of my fave albums.
I second that emotion
I haven’t been to Venice, but i have watched property searches on tv - I agree, you can almost smell the “old” in those apartments...and their kitchens and bathrooms make the Texaco jokes sound redic! lol
In 2009, with the inauguration of Obama and the dawn of unified Democratic control of Washington, business boomed. Revenues at Tonys firm close to doubled, and revenues at Heathers firm increased by 50 percent. The money has continued to roll in. The Podesta Group had some $13 million in lobbying income in 2013, sporting clients such as Lockheed Martin, Wells Fargo, U.S. Airways, Walmart, and the National Biodiesel Board. Heather Podesta + Partners made some $4 million, lobbying on behalf of health companies, the American Beverage Association, Brookfield Power, DeVry University, and others. A portion of that money was recycled, contributing to Democratic campaigns, opening up avenues of influence: Tony gave some $45,500 in 2013, all to Democrats;
The Podesta name has reach
They’re all dank. The whole city’s dank. That’s my point.
LOL, I already know many of the key quotes from the flick by sheer exposure...
In the same vein, I never watched Seinfeld something about his close-set eyes always bothered me ;)
I watched “the Godfather” on a plane last year. For the first time ever. It was interesting after seeing so many references, homages and parodies to actually see the thing itself.
I’m just saying.
Obama’s dumb minions seem to have
A small bon mot for all situations-
Just a joke about those who are broke
While their boss takes more vacations...
They should be engaging their brains
Before opening a careless mouth-
Most don’t think they are funny,
And their appeal is headed south
It isn’t funny to joke about beef
There’s barely enough to buy it-
And if they think that is funny
This November, let them try it...
It was 31 this morning at 6, so I had to dig out something in a hurry for an extra layer to do an outdoor estimate-Ese sudadera es un color feo...
i never watched Seinfeld when it was on either. Soother basically put a gun to my head and made me watch The Big Lebowski a few years ago. it was good.
What’ll probably happen is that I’ll see The Big Lebowski scheduled on the tube sometime and just watch it I’m not much of a movie buff and really never get out to catch first-run flicks. Similar for TV series I never watched “Friends” the first time around, but over the last year or so with it being on Nick-at-Nite at bedtime, I now know many eps by heart ;)
