2. Archaic . a note on a horn, bugle, etc.

la sudadera [soo-dah-DEHR-ah]
-adv
sweatshirt
Las niñas estaban vestidas en sudaderas azules idénticas.
The girls were wearing identical blue sweatshirts
i miss the Easter Egg hunts, though. Can’t get the dogs to do it properly ; )
Nice.
I turned off the air conditioning yesterday morning - opened two windows and within an hour had to close them because it was cold....later had to turn on the heat. We went from 73 to the mid 40’s yesterday
Now that we are all adults, there is one family basket. However, until after college they got their own. Just less candy more adult gifts like books, gift cards and just a bit of their favorite candy.
You are a soap fan? Who knew. RME
i don’t do a ton of candy, it is more small gifts like you mentioned, gift cards, lipgloss etc for xsgirls, etc.
82 on Sunday, 37 now. Supposed to be down to 21 tonight.
It’s raining now, with just a hint of a flake or two in there.
Wow - that beats our temp drop! In the Texas panhandle it was more like your numbers and they had some snow!
xsbro and xsSIL were in AZ for about 5 days, for a wedding and mini-vaca,and left 88 degrees to return to Houston yesterday and have it be cold!
The UPS guy is ROUTINELY leaving two dog biscuits with whatever pkgs he leaves. Now, we get pkgs almost daily between me buying dresses for the wedding [am shopping exclusively online, as the stores allow you return stuff to the stores, and shipping is free. I buy anything that looks like a possibility, have returned around 5 so far, kept two prospects] and xsteen ordering stuff, so it is just wild that he leaves them every day. Last Friday, the FedEx guy knocked, and the dogs ran to the door and there was NO TREAT! they were soooo disappointed. Not to worry, the UPS guy came later and he didn’t disappoint.
(NTBCW with "malamute" and "marmot" which are cute animals ;)
Nice marmot.
I think he deserves some shortbread this Christmas.
That is nice - your dogs are going to think anyone ringing your door bell is bringing treats! Pavlov! lol
i will give him some cookies, once i start the cookie table baking! nothing in the house right now as we are dieting. poor xsboy. i have to pony up some food for him this weekend, bc it’s kind of bleak pickings!
our doorbell has NEVER worked, people have to knock. Must be faulty wiring or something, we have had it replaced more than once. i did have to laugh at the FedEx delivery though, bc they looked so sad.
funny co-inky dink: was in the midst of reading this post and listening to Mrs. Dupa talk on the phone, when I heard our doorbell at home clearly ring.
i imagine you with a doorbell that plays a weird al yankovic ditty ; )
Haha - I can just see you some day listing your beautiful home.... “non-working doorbell” lol
Who is visiting your wife at this time of day? ;^)
