That’s what the wooly worm predicts.

We’re to have a hard freeze Monday night here in northern Missouri. I do remember 18” of snow on April 17th in 1972. Went mushroom hunting the next day and found a mess.

Guess I’ll call off the hunt this year until last week of April. Sigh.

Once this cold passes everything should be okay. Right?

Until the inevitable May hailstorms hit. I have relatives who farm wheat in the panhandle, and grow vegetables and fruit in Central TX. It really does seem like once in about every six years, they will have a crop with no damage from weather related events. also, we are still in a drought in most of TX.
