Haven’t seen that, though I have seen that one of the Special Police commanders has resigned because he was ordered to attack.
The real trauma isn’t going to come in Donetsk, I think. The protestors are only armed with Molotovs, rocks, and a few pistols, just like the Maidan.
The flash point could be Lugansk, where there isn’t as much press coverage, the protestors are definitely armed, and much better organized.
Will be interesting to see if or not Putin responds and at what point. Things are not close to a tipping point IMO. If any bend it will be Kiev......they are ready to let the east and south go from what I’m seeing. So if Putin goes in it will only be the Ukrainian people fighting him...the Gov. cannot send ‘troops’ because there’;s been no declaration of war.
