I didn't think Letterman was funny and I don't find what's his name funny either.

Isn’t Colbert as old as Letterman?

Doesn’t surprise me at all.
Mocking Republicans and Conservatives is his bread and butter. He is probably the only one who could pass muster with the gays at CBS.

Good for Jimmy Fallon, and all the stations running reruns at 11:30.
I can’t see how this will not be one of the biggest flops in the history of television.

Is there any practical difference between the two?
‘Haven’t watched Letterman since his first or second season on late night; have never seen Colbert except at the White House Correspondents Dinner when he was utterly tasteless attacking Pres. Bush (43). So why start watching now? Ain’t gonna happen.
They want the “hipster” audience anyway, not this old fogie.

Sounds like I still won’t have a reason to watch the Late Show...

If true, CBS has guaranteed that the conservative bashing will continue unabated.

I never watched Letterman and certainly will not watch Colbert. Never have before so why start now? SeeBS is going from one jerk to an even more noxious one.

Isnt Colbert as old as Letterman? No, but they shovel the same manure so who would notice the change?
