A small English village is visited by British troops on "manouvers"--except they aren't British at all ! They are Nazis who have sneaked into Britain to establish a "beach-head" for a large-scale German invasion. A mild manner people take revenge. This film has not been available in some time.

Netflix knows it exists, but doesn’t have it available. I imagine “The British War Collection,” of which this is a part, could be purchased reasonably from Amazon.
I saw one a while back on Netflix, “Millions Like Us,” from 1943. It was about young women working in war industries.

“Cottage to Let,” also starring Leslie Banks, from 1941, is available on Netflix streaming.

I saw this in a film series Mrs. Tanker and I attended years ago. The host was a film critic who showed a film print on a projector. No idea where he got it - maybe a college archive.
Anyhow, it's a ripping good story and well worth the time.
