Bayern Munich advanced to the Champions League semifinals with a 3-1 win over Manchester United in a wild game at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
After a lackluster first half, the goals came one after another in the second half.
...Wayne Rooney was a non-factor, and clearly wasn't 100% healthy after sustaining an injury in last week's game
This is the last we'll see of Manchester United in the Champions League until at least 2015-16.

Fellow Everton fan, here.
The draw is in...
Chelsea - Atletico Madrid
Bayern Munich - Real Madrid
I predict it will be Atletico vs Bayern in the Final.
What’s funny is that Atletico’s goalkeeper is on loan from Chelsea...Usually it stipulates in the loan agreement that a player will not face the team that loaned him out, so I wonder if that will apply.
The whole concept of loans, I have to admit is weird.
Everton’s success this season is mainly due to the players they got through loans.....they’ve got a challenge replacing them if indeed they do get into the CL next season.
I was 4-for-4 in the quarterfinals, though perhaps not so close on the score lines.
I think both of these pairings are toss-ups - Bayern still have to be the favorites, not just as defending champions, but with no domestic competitions causing them any distraction, but it’s also hard to bet against Real Madrid. From a fan’s perspective, I expect relatively high scores, with Bayern taking the tie 5-3.
Chelsea have the edge on Atletico Madrid in depth and experience, and having the second leg at home is a big deal, as Chelsea have done just enough in each round to advance. They’ll do it one more time, 3-2.
I had PSG, but losing Zlatan was a killer.
I think it’s Atletico’s year. I see them winning La Liga, and this as well. Although I’d have to favor Bayern in the Final.
Bayern’s been sleepwalking a bit lately, it gets boring when you win the Bundesliga with a month and a half left in the season. But I still see them as the team to beat.
Well, that’s why they play the games, right? In any event, I expect some fun stuff to watch.
I don't care about their football (soccer).

"They have a great team and a great coach [Carlo Ancelotti], so it will be a huge challenge for us. But we are looking forward to it."
Lahm: It doesn't get bigger than Bayern Munich against Real Madrid
"It's a fantastic semi-final," the versatile defender stated. "Two big clubs with a lot of tradition will meet each other. Bayern against Real - it can't get any bigger in European football at the moment.
"We want to prevail and reach the final, no doubt about it."
Manchester United Vs. Real Madrid Tilt At University Of Michigan Stadium Sells Out In 24 Hours
Did someone say that the United States didnt have soccer fans?
In what is projected to become the most attended soccer game in US history, the upcoming clash between Manchester Uniteds and Real Madrid FC at the University of Michigans Big House has also managed to shatter sales records, with over 100,000 tickets being sold within the first day of general sales.
As it was, that hope was gone in 60 seconds of Patrice Evra's goal and United were instead left to consider a very different reality.
Moyes could hardly have said anything else. Part of his remit is public tub-thumping and putting on a brave face as he starts the greatest overhaul of a United squad since Sir Alex Ferguson broke up the drinking culture at the club in the late 1980s.
Moyes must replace Nemanja Vidic, who will leave in the close season, plus Rio Ferdinand (probably) and most likely Patrice Evra a big void to fill. He has also to add at least one European-class, game-shaping midfielder.
Manchester United to install beds at training ground for sleepy players
Its tough being a footballer getting paid millions of pounds to kick a ball around for a couple of hours each day, before playing one or two games a week.
But its about to get an awful lot easier for the hard-working souls at Manchester United, after the club reportedly gave the go-ahead for a sleeping area to be built at their training ground.
While United fans were drowning their sorrows, Welbeck and Cleverley were both seen dancing in front of friends as they hopped from club to club.
Still the highest attended WC, ever.
Rooney needed to have a pain-killing injection to play in United's 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday, manager David Moyes said.
And most bought WC 2014 tickets after Brazil!
Have nice day dfwgator, need to run...
Everton Wins!!!!
Wigan and Arsenal playing now in the FA Cup semis.....Go Wigan!
