A prince strips a posing group of prostitutes naked one by one as he selects a companion for the night. It sounds like a scene from a porn film, but this was the latest episode of the epic fantasy drama Game of Thrones, based on the novels of George R R Martin. The start of the gory series fourth season on Monday even managed to shock its own fans. .....................................................
Campaigners warned it could lead to young people being desensitised to content once considered shocking and being influenced by the behaviour they displayed. Miranda Suit, of Safermedia, said: What are [young girls] learning from some of these storylines?

I hadn’t, but that makes me very darn happy :D
Agree of the sex additions. Not in the books and just gratuitous. They renewed because Martin has written another book already and has two more on the way. The entire series is supposed to be 7 books.
I have book five, and am waiting for him to write 6 and 7.
The Owrld of Ice and Fire app contains an excerpt from Winds of Winter the 6th book due 2015. Ol George takes his time....
Dang Laura, did you see season one? I was calling it “Porn with Swords” even back then.
How about season two when the two fags were having at it, complete with slurping sounds.
There is a reason it’s on HBO... it’s a hard R, close to X rating.
Every summer the marina where our sailboat is has a huge bbq. I take my now 14 year old granddaughter with me for a week of vacation and shopping. My bff gave me the complete 1st season of Game of Thrones to watch while there a couple of years ago. I realized almost immediately that it was not suitable for a 12 year old and ejected the disc.
What happened with Arya and Sandor?
Well I don’t want to say because of spoilers, but it was just the acting out of a particular scene from book 3, and it was almost flawless.
There was a notable difference, but I think I understand why they may have done it the way they did.
What really stood out to me in this scene though is just how good of an actor Rory McCann is.
His eyes are just black holes, and he plays Sandor to perfection.
Arya and Sandor are also my favorite subplot, so I was very partial to this scene.
Same with Mad Men... It wasn’t an episode if someone was getting high.
... wasn’t getting high.
