Just made 3 jars two weeks ago. I’ve had a nasty cold and it is comfort food for that. When it gets too pungent I stir fry it with rice.
It also lures my daughter over for visits, as she lived in Korea for a year and is addicted to kimchi. It was at her suggestion that I started making my own.
Very cool. I just need to get some jars and give it a whirl. My mom uses the same trick to lure me over. :)
