Not that it wasn't clear at first... but one glimpse of the Mitch-meister, well, now it's crystal.

normally I wouldn’t stick around a thread so long... but I was just able to get out of bed for first time in a week. Last week, .. last slope of last day skiing.. first time I had freedom (not watching over 10 kids skiing), I HAD to go fast and furious... was great until the last 100 meters or so. My right ski hit something like a rock or chunk of ice..

I ended up learning how to do the splits >.< Right leg was ok, ham was pulled pretty tight, but knee was bent. Left left, on the other hand, was straight in front of me.. knee slightly hyper extended >.<
I did self check.. all toes worked.. rolled to side to parallel my skis.. small pain, but nothing ‘unusual..

Was same until I was on the bus back to Chiba.. Every time we made a stop for refreshments, it was harder for me to move my left leg.. I was getting concerned :/

Finally made it back to Tokyo.. hobbled my way to the train station to start my 2 hour trip home. Grr.. by the time I got off of the buss to hobble to my apartment, the pain was worse than when I was shot. A normal 1 minute walk from the buss stop took 17 minutes... spent the next 3 days peeing in PET bottles (recyclable). Was finally able to get to hospital mid last week.. Doc was kind enough to give me LOTS of meds (not even sure what half of them were for).. but, almost out of meds now, and knee still looks like a grapefruit :/

Starting yesterday, was able to bend my knee about 100 degrees... but took me about 10 minutes to straighten it back out (with LOTS of pain :/).

Apologies, didn’t mean to hijack my own thread :p
