I just started readying Brian Kilmeade's book, George Washington's Secret Six (2013) and just picked up Alexander Rose's book, Washington's Spies (2006) at Walmart. I find it interesting that it took so long to identify who five of these six spies were. The leader of the ring was identified in the 1920s. The identity of the sixth spy, "355", a "lady", is still unknown. I guess George Washington didn't even know who these people were.
