The unfortunate thing is that the mess that Mozilla has made really reflects badly on the entire free software movement as they all share much the same “values.”

All these silicon valley companies share the same "culture" as far as I can tell. Mozilla just got caught out at it.

If there is a browser firm out there who will explicitly stand by an executive who supports traditional marriage, please show me. I will switch to their product at once.

Until then I see no need to drop Mozilla for another company that enforces the PC dogma in a less public way.

Early in my career (70s) I had the opportunity to relocate to the Silicon Valley area. Something told me that it was not in my best long term interests to do that.

While I’m sure I would have made a lot more money over my lifetime, I’m glad I avoided that place.

A company with left wing PC views is one thing. Actively pursuing a totalitarian policy to punish those with differing thought (as Mozilla is doing) is quite another.
