I went to the link. It sounds like the officer was allowed to resign. It seems he should have been charged with assault. I am glad the victim is getting money from the city for this, but seems like the money should be coming from the LEOs involved, instead.

This is why bad cops assume they will get away with it. Because they do, no matter what the boot lickers claim. Anyone else would not walk away from such a crime.
