New revelations about mom killed by Capitol cops

WASHINGTON — First they called her a terrorist threat.

When she turned out to be an unarmed suburban mother, they said she was on drugs.

Now, WND has exclusively learned, without a trace of doubt, that was wrong, too.

WND can also now report Miriam Carey was shot in the back of the head by U.S. Capitol Police officers and uniformed Secret Service agents six months ago, on Oct. 3, 2013.

The official police investigation still has not been released. But Carey family attorney Eric Sanders obtained the toxicology and autopsy report on this macabre anniversary.

Nope...not against the law...but when you act like she was you leave a lot up to the interpretation of people surrounding you who have the job of stopping dangerous people.

The less you have to interact with the government the better for all involved. She kinda forced some interaction there wouldn’t you say?

I am guessing the officers on scene saw her driving as a threat to every tourist out and about and it may have looked to them like someone trying to escape capture or trying to use a car as a weapon.

I don’t know...but getting shot in the back doesn’t mean you were not a threat. This ain’t a 1950 cowboy movie where people stand facing eachother for dramatic effect.

Had I made a wrong move when they came in, they almost certainly would have blown my head off and then apologized to my wife and daughter. And by any logical standard they would have been entirely justified to do so.

Oh?

How do you like this...agents storm a 91 year old man house because he runs a museum....

Come on - it was only a hundred Fibbie agents, and dozens of police cruisers.

It's not like they called in a couple of armored brigades or a detachment of the 101st Airborne...

Lesson learned: Don’t do donuts in your car when cops have their weapons pointed at you.

"I wonder why they didn’t try to shoot out her tires?"

It makes too much sense. They probably didn't cover that option in their use of weapons classes. When they were told to aim for center-mass, they figured they meant the center-mass of the vehicle, not center-mass of the tires.

I think the poor black woman didn't have chance at all. Even if she stopped, the pursuing policemen would riddle her car bullets before they verify if driver threat or not, i.e., shot first ask later.

She inadvertently headed to the heavily secured road to the white house at the middle of phony government shutddown, that's worse than getting lost to dead-end street in L.A. where gangbangers' hang out.

Police should all undergo periodical combat-shooting in simulators, not just to be marksmen.

Example of “Combat shooting” is in the Dirty Harry film where Clint Eastwood mistakenly shot a hostage, he lost the competition.

"I am guessing the officers on scene saw her driving as a threat to every tourist out and about and it may have looked to them like someone trying to escape capture or trying to use a car as a weapon."

I've driven in DC on multiple occasions. You take you life in your hands every time you get in your car there. You don't want to be driving in DC when it rains or snows. One time when it was raining, I had a city bus run into my driver's side. I was in the farthest right hand lane, making a right turn at the light. He was next to me, and decided he was going to make a right turn from the middle lane, using my lane while I was still in it.

Also had someone threaten me over a parking spot at Union Station.

I'm not a cop hater by any means. I was a uniform member of a State law enforcement agency for 25 years. I'd be the first person to defend them, but until I saw proof that those cops, or civilians were in danger for their lives from this woman's driving, I'm going to believe that there were other options than opening fire on that vehicle. If there were civilians in the area, they actually put those folks at bigger risk by shooting that car up. It's a lot easier to dodge out of the way of a moving car, than dodging a ricocheting bullet.

FBI storms 91 year old mans house because he collects Indian arrowheads..

I do the same thing, but do it to preserve the artifacts. Guess I better edit my "About page" soon.

In Obama's America the first rule of "Artifact Club" is "STFU About Artifact Club" or risk having the Jackboots descend on your homestead!

LOL! I just saw it! Whoa, better hide that collection! That is amazing though, I was always fascinated about stuff like that. Arrowheads and the bullets they would find on Civil war battlefields. How do you find them, you just walk through a field and there they are?

Based on what they knew at the time, you bet. I precisely met the description of a known killer, (height, weight, shoes, hair and eye color, even including the color of pants jacket I was wearing), then make a suspicious move when challenged.

Now I’m about as harmless to convenience store clerks or cops as a person can possibly be, but THEY HAD NO WAY TO KNOW THAT.

You expect cops to be psychic?

Do you similarly expect the citizen awakened from sleep by unidentified armed people in street clothes breaking down his door to know they are cops with the wrong address and mean him and his family no harm? If he returns fire, is that a tragic accident or murder? (That is it often prosecuted as murder does not change what it is, or how I’d vote if on a jury.)

I’m perfectly willing to agree WAY too many of todays cops appear to be trigger-happy. But we can’t expect cops (or anybody else) to know anything they can’t reasonably know at a given moment and respond accordingly.

Would my killing in a tragic case of mistaken identity have been horrible? Sure.

Would it have been murder or even manslaughter? No.

Two quick points in rebuttal:

1. Today's officers are trained to CONFRONT at all costs.

2. We have "swarms of officers harassing" us. Combine that with the "Confrontation" mentality. Not good.

Let these assclowns bray all they want. They aren’t doing the cause of the cops any favors. Pay attention to people who so aggressively defend the murder of those who don’t bow, stoop and genuflect quickly enough to those heavily armed, roided out, high school wrestling team rejects. Those are the ones you want to keep distance from. They are the ones who will turn you in once the aggressive gun confiscation starts.

This lady cost her her own life. Had I gone all crazy like she did, me and my battle buddies probably would have been killed.

Maybe next time it will be your mom, or your sister or your daughter that is too scared and panicked to follow the approved procedure when she gets the complete and undivided attention of the king's men. Nah...never mind. It can't happen to anyone you care about. It's just stupid liberal bitches that get capped.

The cops are going to need all the help you can give them. Not right now...later. I don’t know when, but not right now. What I do know is that there aren’t going to be any angry mobs or pissed off individuals looking to reach out and touch people in my line of work.

Shoot first, ask questions later is the new government employee privacy.

If they wish to prey on the American people, they do not get to demand that Americans submit to being unlawfully attacked or murdered.

If you wish to be gunned down because you choose to wait and see, that is your business. The gazelle has the same right to wait and see whether the cheetah seeks to devour him, I suppose.

A child is motherless because government employees murdered her, and other government employees applauded the murder.

They would do the same for any Freeper here.
