It’s pretty simple. Chick-Fil-A has great customer service. It’s very noticeable. The stores are very clean. Every KFC I go in is a dump by comparison.
Chick Fil A restricts franchise owners to one unit. The owner must also work at the unit.
KFC, McDonalds, Wendy’s and other franchisees often own multiple units and are uninvolved in the day to day operations.
Chick Fil A owners are very carefully screened by the company before they can purchase a restaurant. It is not just a financial transaction, character and lifestyle also counts. Many Chick Fil A franchise owners are devout Christians who take the faith seriously and live it.
The PEACH MILKSHAKE!!!!!
and you can add to that listing: mckyd's burger king taco bell
the CS as these three places is borderline anemic. rarely, and I do mean rarely, are you greeted with a smile or even a look that says glad you're here.
This^^^
CFA has very good chicken patties for sandwiches. I would like to see them upgrade from that simple bun— maybe a seeded roll or whole wheat/rye/sourdough selection. Their bread needs an upgrade in quality but customers service is tops. Also proves a store can be closed on Sunday and still very profitable.
That's my experience too...
Ordered some wings and a drink at the KFC drive-thru and was given a wrong receipt. I told the woman and she said, "You're saving money"... and I told her I didn't want to 'save money, I wanted a receipt for what I had bought. She was not a happy camper ...
Then I thought 'do I really want to eat food made by people who steal'? I mean how ethical are they going to be with how they handle the food? Anyhow, it was my last time at KFC.
Something similar happened at McDonalds a few times several years back - and I quit buying stuff for the grandkids there.
I remember when these places use to hire high school and college kids who were honest and wanting to do well at their first jobs. It sure isn't that way anymore... CFA still has the 'clean/honest feel... hope they keep it...
