did you see the cookie table link i posted to you and others yesterday? apparently while Pittsburgh lays claim to the tradition, there is at least one school of thought that Warren, OH has some nexus as well.

Given that it is all within an hour of eachother, maybe an hour and a half, who knows.

I almost forgot the games at the shower. There were a couple that they must have bought. One being a list of famous lovers that you had to match. The second was a purse audit. So many points for each item you had in your purse. Then they had a board set up as a matching game. Numbered 1-20, you had to match words like honeymoon, vows or groom. It was just a folded paper attached and they would flip it up and show us what was underneath and pull them off after they were matched. We played that as a table. Then the prize was hokey...like a Mr. Goodbar for the groom, hershey kisses for hugs and kisses. We all groaned appropriately. I think it was red hots for honeymoon. Next there were little bags of spices stapled shut and displayed as a plant in a clay pot, ten of them. We had to name them without opening the bags. Then there was a price is right game, each table had an item and we had to name the price. There were tons of prizes, it seemed like everyone ended up with something. It was pleasant.
