Yes, I am. Promise not to laugh? While I was putzing around on the 'puter, I got a phone call from my son who asked *Do you want to see a bald eagle?*

Answer...*YES!!!*...I grabbed my binoculars and he picked me up and took me down to the River .....and we enjoyed watching him for a while...until a cop came by and told us to move the truck. >;)

The CT River valley is host to many bald eagles who winter down here from the northlands of Maine and Canada....a very few have stayed on and are nesting down here....which is very cool.

I'm thinking it's time to get my hummie feeders out and get them set up.....historically, we don't see them until Apr. 15th or thereabouts. It won't be long now!
