My brother and I always referred to EVOO-girl and Bobblehead’s shows as “Cooking with A Cups” and “Cooking with D Cups”, respectively.
Child joined the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) after finding that she was too tall to enlist in the Women's Army Corps (WACs) or in the U.S. Navy's WAVES. She began her OSS career as a typist at its headquarters in Washington, but because of her education and experience soon was given a more responsible position as a top secret researcher working directly for the head of OSS, General William J. Donovan.
For her service, Child received an award that cited her many virtues, including her "drive and inherent cheerfulness."

He sure was easy on the eyes while walking away. :) Not only a great actor, and a good guy, but darn hot too.
ts toeing the line...not towing the line.
Towing is accurate in that they are trying to pull the wool (really the BS) over Americans.
Besides, with obama the “line” changes often.
Got dem crawfishes a boilin’.
When I was a young man, I enjoyed watching his show because it was more than “just a cooking show”; it was a total entertainment experience.
Didn't she also use the N word once about 40-years ago?
That's all I needed to know about "the cricket".
(...because she reminds me of a cricket....large black head, big backside, and makes an obnoxious noise)
LOL, curiously I am in the market for some new, good cookware. I expected to pay about 300-350. I looked over Ray’s stuff, as well as Caphalon. I guess this makes the decision for me!
No doubt she’s a typical lib woman, using sexuality to get ahead. Check out her photoshopped FHM, ahem, spread.
And her husband is a world-class sex perv. Geez, she signed with Oprah! Probably ticketed for ‘Celebrity Rehab’ in the future.
Sorru. there’s no such phrase as “towing” the line.
Sure there is.it is not common.you read it
online didn’t you?
She’s on some cat food in my Walmart. I wouldn’t buy it!
Cat food?! That’s weirdly appropriate.
I wonder if they pay for product placement on her cooking shows?
Maybe she has cats on the kitchen counter. I do, when there’s meat around or Shannon is too cautious to jump over the baby gate. They sometimes fall over when a large cat touches down on the top, and that’s so embarrassing. It’s a higher jump to get on the counter, but she knows it’s stable!
Cruising for cocktails!
Perhaps cats are the only ones watching her shows. Can't fault her for targeting her audience.
Cats can't be that dumb or bored so maybe it's a naughty pleasure sort of vice. Demand "Fancy Feast" from the staff, but when the humans aren't looking make a beeline for the Rachael Ray buffet.
We used to see her on the Food Channel, but it must be at least 10 years ago, because we’ve never had cable/sat in this house.
We ditched the cable a number of years ago so we also waved buh-bye to the flaky Food Network.
The cultural and political/envirowacko propaganda became unbearable.
Funny to think of the classic Far Side “cat fud” cartoon, exchanging the cat for Rachael Ray. “Oh please oh please!”
When we first moved to Charlotte, we were living in an apartment that had cable. When our house was ready, I just didn’t want to deal with it. We went a lot of years with DVDs and PBS (if the wind was right) before we got Netflix. It’s awful having to see commercials when we go on vacation!
I loved the Food Network when Tom was a baby, 1996. That was when “Emeril Live” premiered!
