I am just wondering with the national fiasco that is Obama if anyone here knows anyone who voted for him and now regret it. I know one woman who has and now seriously regrets that decision and is worried about the future. I also have met someone who was supportive of him and signed up for Obamacare and...well...let's just say he is not happy at the moment.
Any other stories out there in Freeperland to share?
Good question, problem is I can’t find anyone who will admit to voting for him.
Sadly, no not a one. The few I know are thrilled they voted for him. And, in any event, even those that don’t aren’t voting Conservative anytime soon.
There is a bunch of denial about it. The main stream media keeps 99 percent of the bad news away.
But the economic consequences have only begun. They have started the end of the world. It’s a house of cards coming down. As the cards fall, Obama is not going to look better.
Bingo.
Yes, I’m an apartment property manager. I had a young woman come in the office to renew her lease for May. I explained there was going to be a hefty increase. She almost cried. I explained that the larger than normal increases in part were due to our employer still wanting to provide us with heath insurance and the prices have skyrocketed during the last two years because of Obamacare. She told me it was her day off and she spend 2 hours on the phone trying to sign up for Obamacare and still didn’t get anywhere. She told me she voted for him because she believed him and she regrets it now.
Ohhhh, YEAH, baby! /s
I recently emailed a friend that found himself campaigning for the usurper in ‘07 (he’d been brainwashed living in a liberal city for too long).
I thought he’d come around so I emailed him the Marine Joke of the Year last week. He replied “F$&king Republicans”. That’s it.
That’s atypical, and I was behind a Prius just yesterday proudly displaying the ‘2012 Bama’ sticker. Most of those stupid stickers are gone, but these idiots are vested.
Frankly, I could give a crap about ‘buyer’s remorse’; I want those people to SUFFER for what they did.
Oh, they may be ticked off with him now, but it is because they did not get this or that freebie.
Regarding my above post, even though she regrets voting for Obama I’m sure she will continue to vote dem. She is one of only two people living at my community that receives food stamps.
We've gotten into many arguments and I just decided to pull the plug...just ain't worth it.
They're still out there. They've doubled-down on Obama and won't admit their mistake. That's pretty much been my experience. Back 'em into a corner and they just double-down on voting for Obama and that's that.
They have no logic or reason to continue supporting him anymore, and frequently don't. The issue really is they don't want to hear they were wrong.
If my boss knew of our conversation I bet he would insist she get an even bigger increase.
Same here!
And as more that one has said to me, "If the Republicans, the greedy corporations, big oil, big tobacco, and the insurance companies would stop fighting him, Obama could straighten out what is wrong with the Country."
Fools never change, they only grow older. They are born fools and when they die as fools. A fool and an Obama worshiper and voter put on the same clothes each day.
I would say you need to find a better class of friends. When I learn someone voted for Obama, we part company then and there. I do not say anything because they have the right to support and believe whom they please, I just no longer have anything for them.
My mother used to be a liberal voter. Twenty years ago she would have voted for Obama, but she didn’t vote for him.
My best friend is from a big Irish Catholic Roosevelt-Kennedy Democrat family. Used to completely swallow the liberal media narrative but now she doesn’t. Didn’t vote for Obama.
Me, I used to vote Democrat in my youth. I wish I could say I’m no longer a fool, but I’ve pulled the lever for Republicans too many times since.
Probably one of the smartest things you ever did.
Add me to the list.
