afaik there’s only one show on tv with ‘zombie’ types and that is TWD.
Because werewolves, vampires and witches have been over done.
(DH says that it is because it is fun to see what democrats really look like under the makeup.)

I was in downtown san francisco this past week. Sprinkled in among the crowds were bums wandering around on the streets. They all had zombie looks in their faces.
I don’t like zombies either. I don’t find them scary...I find them gross.

To me, zombie stuff is like a comedian with one joke.

Zombies are zombies, just dead. TWD honors the zombie persona by actually affirming that they are not diseased/infected humans (World War Z, 28 days later etc) but reanimated corpses which is the most accepted theorem. In addition, I prefer my vampire on screen as the 30 Days & Nights’ vampire (bloodthirsty animal type) vs the faggot vampire (Twilight).
