Asus. They are well-priced. You can get anything from a low-end email machine to a “Republic of Gamers” laptop that will rival almost any desktop.

Agreed! Asus makes a fine laptop. Pretty much one for every need and budget.

Own two, one's three years old, the other is about 8 months old. Neither's ever had an issue. Best thing: Asus didn't load 'em up with a bunch of crapware that I had to remove.

I had an ASUS netbook, motherboard died after a year about 2 weeks after the warranty expired.

They wanted about the same price as a new one to fix. I threw it in the trash.

I’ve been running a Dell Inspiron 1525 since 2008 and by all rights this thing should have exploded a long time ago, yet it keeps cranking on.
