Hugs on your sad day. The screen is getting blurry just thinking of one of ours who’s been gone 8 years now. Some are harder to take than others. Looks like the current crop of monsters will need to have their summer haircuts earlier this year. One likes it but the bear will be totally depressed.
It’s supposed to be another sunny near 80 degree day. After the weather threat yesterday, re-took the flats out to the porch this morning. One ‘mater had grown over to another little pot and rooted. He’ll be fun to transplant. The last batch of pepper seeds re-potted on 3/12 never came up so will have room in the garden to try something new from the various packets bought (did NOT need) the other day. Started on getting the weed fabric out yesterday but the winds were too strong so need to get back to it today.
Thanks. We’re missing her. Before she lost her hearing, she had this “farm dog bark” that sometimes drove me nuts. I’d pay money to hear it now. She was so sweet & never met a stranger.
I guess the fur’s going to be flying here, too (blowing their coats).
Summer’s here! I’ve still got everything on the patio (so I can bring the tomatoes & the baby plants in if it gets too cool), but I’m going to get out & clean up the garden this week- salt the railroad vine & trim the grass around it. I’m getting excited.Everything (but the stuff I killed) is looking GREAT.
To Johnny- that was a hard lesson that literally only took a couple of hours.
