Now the hunt is on for a new one. This one has become a hassle. Still getting DLL errors and such.

Win8 is easier to get than 7 anymore. As much as I love 7, I will be going to 8.1 when I build my new gaming machine. Microsoft realized the error of their ways with the Metro "Modern" interface and packages 8.1 with the standard desktop. The search capabilities are much more enhanced, and you'll get used to Win8, I believe. If you can get Win7, Home Premium should do you just fine. Ultimate is overboard, IMO.
