Nine out of ten Americans being killed would be about 280 million deaths from a catastrophic event and would almost certainly trigger a nuclear retaliation causing hundreds of millions more deaths. That is a Tribulation/Apocalyptic scenario.

Quite Correct! In the history of man he has repeatedly shown his ability to cause such havoc that people have cried out to the Lord to bring his own end to relieve their suffering.
