I’m not sure what the “ deadly situation” was.

Then you must not have watched the video.

I find it hard to believe anyone would see anything of merit in what that guy did.

If you read my first post on this thread, you will see that I said both of them are assholes. I'm not defending either of them, I am saying both of them contributed to what happened. One paid the price, the other got off scot-free.

OK, lunch is over, no more food for you.

<><><><

How did the lane blocker contribute to the guy in the truck accelerating and swerving in front of her? That is what caused him to wreck.

None of what happened before contributed to the accident, only the acceleration and swerving on wet roads did that.

I do not see how she did anything wrong or illegal or dangerous.

There is no passing lane in Florida (I looked it up to see what people are talking about).

Everyone defending the buffoon who can’t even drive his car without losing control has misrepresented the passing lane or keep right laws as somehow being an abrogation of speed limit laws, which they are not.

In fact, where there are such laws it can be if one is driving 10 mph slower than the speed limit they must not be in the passing lane.

There are no laws saying a person driving at the speed limit in the left lane must change lanes to allow a car traveling substantially faster than the speed limit to pass.

The flow of traffic laws also do not abrogate speed limits.

Personally I do think in rural areas on two lane highways that a car going the speed limit should let cars behind that are going reasonably over the speed limit pass.
