My new granddaughter became ill about a month ago, right after my daughter finished her maternity leave. She had to stay with the baby for doctor appointments and a short hospitalization. Within two weeks, she had too many points and was fired.

Now she’s bankrupt, but she’s home, so I guess there’s a silver lining after all.

As we know, Marie, millions of dollars does not a good home make. Just ask Gwyneth and her soon-to-be ex-husband.

We’ve been a single income family for a number of years. Home educated our children. Two are in college. They’re solid kids, well adjusted, intelligent, respectful, they love engaging people of all ages in conversation, they’re hard working, honest, and are well liked.

Our family sacrificed a lot of worldly things in order to raise our children. That’s something money can NEVER buy. I empathize with your daughters financial challenges, but your granddaughter doesn’t desire her mommy’s money. She craves her attention and love.

Prayers to your daughter that she’ll find another job, or find a way to be at home while supporting her baby.
