I don’t think the bacon would get cooked enough during the time that the rolls bake. It would be better if you crisped up the bacon a little before wrapping it in dough.

The trouble would be not eating all the bacon prior to placing it in the roll.
After all, it is bacon.

I dont think the bacon would get cooked enough during the time that the rolls bake. My mom used to pour a little batter in the waffle iron, then three strips bacon, then more batter. We never died from eating them, and the bacon wasn't always cooked that great.

I dont think the bacon would get cooked enough during the time that the rolls bake. Bacon is cured. That's cooked enough for me. I can't abide crispy bacon. Warm is good enough for me. I like it microwaved and chewy.
