Never had an album, but I have some of the tunes on CDs made from old tapes that the 1st husband and I had-one of the things we had in common was being music nuts...

Maybe in flavors: coffee, maple, and chocolate.

I think they’d sell.

“Ricky Nelson” had his tunes-45’s-when I was 13-14, and transferred them to tapes much later-Travelin’ Man reminds me of dancing on skates at the roller rink-I use stuff like that for stress relief...

can’t! mr B also asking me to google Rocaille, which is the whirlpool manufacturer of our non-functional whirlpool spa tub in our master bath.

Please find out and let me know where to get those replacement parts, if possible? You’d think such a thing did not exist, if you ask Home Depot, and the customer isn’t happy when the plumbing guy has to replace the whole faucet.

xsboy's computer, which xshub took to have serviced while he was on spring break, is still shutting down on him, and quit in the middle of his web design lab; xsbaby's gone through at least 3 computer chargers for her macbook air, and is telling me that another one has crapped out on her [what in Gods name she is doing wrong i have no idea, but there's no way legit usage is going to lead to them crapping out seriatum like this.]; and Mr B texting me to call him so he can tell me what he still needs to fix the damn faucet properly, and asking me to send him some links for the tub manufacturer.

he’s telling me to take a cellphone pic when i get home and send it to the lady i spoke to at Kohler and say that i need these things too. this faucet cost $700, T5. and this is the second time it completely fell apart. i called kohler, she was familiar with the problem and sent out this replacement part kit to take care of the problem, what is irking me is this little black plastic washer thing that he says he still needs. oh great, he just texted me the pic, he took one himself. there are days when i can take this kind of thing in stride but other days when i feel overcome with the barrage of BS to deal with, this is one of those days. i don’t dare even breathe any of this to xshub at this point, since he is far less able to deal with BS than i am, generally speaking.

oh and because this is one of those days, i just got a missive from xsteen about the infamous bridal shower that her “bridesmaids” are having for her [the one where the locals extorted cash from the farflung bridesmaids in highhanded emails, to be held in July.] so they are having it a restaurant. my fear is that they are going to make the attendees pay to eat which would be totally outrageous. hopefully not, but i just don’t know, nor does xsteen at this point. but the shower is hostage to the two 20-something bridesmaids who are the masterminds of this. i will be humiliated if the food is not covered.

Tranquila-I know just what you are saying-I should have known better, but the 1st faucet I put in the house was a 400+ Koehler one, just because I thought it was pretty. It lasted all of 1 1/2 years, leaking most of that time. I replaced it with another brand for over $100 less and it was still going strong 3 months ago...

I remember when I could buy packages of 10-20 assorted generic black plastic washer thingees that would fit just about any faucet, but now everything is brand $$$Specific...

That would be outrageous, but not surprising. Is there some way to do a covert operation to find out if the meal is/is not covered without involving the hostage takers?

well this was called an attachment piece, according to the kohler lady, and it looks like it goes around the opening in the little domed cover that covers the innards of the faucet. she knew what i was talking about, even with my primitive explanation, and without mr B’s pic.

i’ve asked xsteen to check with the one local bridesmaid, who is involved but not necessarily approving of the other two. if she isn’t comfortable asking elena, i will email elena myself and ask. i also want them to be involving the farflung bridesmaids, at least to the extent of keeping them informed of what they are doing with their joint funds. xsbaby has not been updated so i doubt the other two cousins have been either.

Nice poem. November can’t come soon enough. Maybe we can pull an Obama and change the calendar and have November come right after March.
