Sir Michael Jagger has just become available. Coincidence?

Now, wait a minute. I thought we were supposed to refrain from criticizing all her stupid pronouncements because she had a good, solid, traditional marriage, and they were bringing up their children just like normal people.
I can’t keep up with all this!

I liked her better in Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow. I enjoyed that movie but her "acting" in front of the green screen was pretty poor, but let's face it that movie was all about the effects not the acting.

My point was not their separation but the use of the term consciously uncouple. I bet we'll be hearing more of this pretentiousness in the future, as marriage deteriorates even further and more and more "couples" of all gender combinations have children -- because "consciously uncouple" sounds so much more progressive to them than "split up", no doubt.

I couldn’t imagine why Chris Martin would agree to move to Hollywood. Now I see it was to help get the children settled. Imagine the mess of those poor kids having to jet back and forth halfway around the world and an 8-hour time difference to see the other parent.

Pretty woman. I loved her in “Shakedpeare in Love.” Too bad she’s so stupid. I don’t fault her for bleaching her hair, but I do seriously loathe
her for being an ungrateful, spoiled, America-hating fool.

I agree, what will the next euphemism be? What would unconsciously uncoupling be, one of them dying?

I wish them well.
Divorce is not fun, particularly for the children.

But viewed as a nostalgic tribute to Flash Gordon and Buck Rodgers, it was appropriate that the acting be on the same level as the old serial reels from the thirties and forties.

That may be the only movie she’s been in that I’ve seen. But I don’t remember much about it other than Joseph Fiennes. ;-)

... we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate ...What on earth does this mean? One hears all the time that divorcing people "love each other" or "are best friends." What does it mean?

LOL! Exactly what I thought — is it even possible to UNconsciously uncouple? UNconsciously couple, perhaps...

I’m sure there’s an element of truth in that for many divorced people.
OOPS, silly me, I mean consciously uncoupled co-parents! There I go being all non-progressive again.
