Neil Tyson may not believe in the Almighty, but he certainly believes in affirmative action.
Like his hero Richard Dawkins, his credentials as a leftist loudmouth are much more impressive than his academic attainments.

Tyson has a doctorate in astrophysics from Columbia University - that's impressive, no matter how you slice it. His doctoral research apparently contributed to better precision in the definition of the Hubble constant. He has real accomplishments in science.
But Seth McFarlane doesn't, and he's an executive producer of the new 'Cosmos'. I was wondering why there are so many cartoons in this show, and why so many of the cartoons feature church figures with dark, villainous shadows around their eyes.
