Maybe not the whole story is not being told. I hate news reporting.
From someone who posted on the article that knows the mother. The mother’s a nut job according to the poster. With the story being one sided we really don’t know the truth. The poster’s reply below:
First of all that is an out right lie. This mother son is ED Emotional Disturbed and is not Autistic. The teacher did not call frantically. This mother has been an issue every since her children have attended Walnut Grove. She has threaten to stab a mother and has had conflicts with another family which led to the police and the family having a meeting on Wednesday.
I feel the news needs to investigate before putting anything on the air. Next time check the background of the parent before believing anything they say. She knows school and district policy. All she had to do was stop by the office and sign in. Also her son went outside and played while the police escorted her out of the building.
I saw a teacher and she said Ms. Williams what is wrong? I said something is wrong with Mikey and proceeded to go straight to my son, said Williams.
She got to her sons classroom and immediately started to console him. Then the school principal informed her she was violated school policy by not signing in.
I didnt sign the book, but I had to check on my son. You can bring me the book, She said oh no, Ive already called the police. You called what, said Williams.
Calverton Park Police responded to the call that came out as an unauthorized entry to a school. The school was also put on a 12-minute lockdown and a letter was sent home to parents.
They escorted me away from my son, who already has emotional distress. Four officers told me to turn around and put my hands behind my back, I was under arrest, said Williams.

The question is: what was in the letter sent home to parents?
By the way, either your commenter is a parent who knows *way* too much about another parent’s business (from information passed on, unlawfully, by a school employee or your commenter is a school employee who opens himself/herself up to a lawsuit from that disclosure.

Also the students are on special permission to attend there.
I tend to agree. This could well be a genuine case of school administrator bumbling and overreaction, or it could be that there’s a lot more to this story that hasn’t been reported. I think back to a few months ago when Yahoo ran a half-dozen stories about that waitress who allegedly got a “homophobic” message on a meal ticket receipt. Nobody at Yahoo bothered to question or even take a close look at the waitress’ version of events in that story, until it became obvious it was a complete hoax.
So, yeah, I’m gonna wait and see on this one. I don’t trust school administrators much, but I trust journalists even less.
Gee...you would think yahoo would include such pertinent information in their article...
My bet is the principal had already called the police the second she was buzzed in...
Being pro-active knowing she was unhinged...
Maybe not the whole story is not being told. I hate news reporting. If what that person says is so, then yeah, we need to take a step back. I notice most reporting is too sensational these days, like that Newsweek "article" about the Bitcoin founder. Very one-sided, no real facts.
