Well, you have FReepers, the next best thing (except for maybe a dog).
Get a new dog. Let him/her pick you. You'll know when you meet it.
Stay in touch with the daughter--you don't give your heart to a kid by half measures, nor do they give theirs to you by halves. She still needs 'Dad', even if only to know you still care.
Work on a plan to get the judge's decision overturned or modified.
Look up some of your old shipmates.
And pray, friend. Pray for the strength to forgive those who have hurt you. Then you can be level headed enough to have those wrongs righted. It isn't easy, but all is possible with The Lord--and He is with you always.
Aside from that, trust. Trust that He has a plan, and that when all is done and that plan comes to fruition you will be better off.

There are many people in similar situations, including many right here on this forum. Sometimes all of the bad things happen at the same time. I will remember you in prayer tonight.
One thing to remember is to talk to God and let Him know exactly how you feel. Just be totally honest with Him. Ask Him for the strength to stay true to Him and to allow Him to lead you in all things. Tell Him you feel He’s forgotten you. He wants to know what hurts you so He can heal it.
You are in my prayers.
Those circumstances stink. All that nonsense going on around you is just a distraction from your true and lasting value in the big picture. Put your effort into just hanging in there, one moment at a time. I’m really sorry to hear that your loyal dog passed. Praying from here.

And you might want to get a health check up if the depression continues: Sometimes there is a secondary medical problem making depression worse.
