White people simply have certain preconceptions, and preconceptions make you see the things you expect to see and miss the things you don’t. If that is true, then the same can be said about blacks. They have a preconceived notion that all whites are racist and spend a great deal of time and planning, meting and maintaining some great oppressive infrastructure that spans everything from fast food to mortgages. They see the things they imagine and miss the actual reality.
