And just how boring of a place is it going to be, when the Messiah of Israel sets up his ruling government over all the nations of the world and institutes the righteousness of God’s Kingdom inside every country, city, town and neighborhood?
This will happen in the not too distant future, the way things are playing out right now - and we’ll see the Messiah of Israel ruling directly from Jerusalem and all the nations and peoples of the world knowing and acting according to the one way provided by the Messiah of Israel. Does that mean that we’ll all die of boredom at that point in time?
Is “this way” that we’re living now to be preferred over how we all will be living with the Messiah of Israel in control and enforcing God’s righteousness, here on this earth, and all our current governments under his control?
Jesus hasn’t come back yet. When He does, he is going to set things right and we can live in peace and happiness, and our art will natural reflect that wonderful world. I’m sure we’ll be plenty contented with that state of affairs.
As it stands now, if all our art tried to depict that state, it would be false, a fantasy. Fantasy has its place, but it isn’t going to ever replace realism in art. I think trying to demand that it should is just futile.
