INDIANAPOLIS - Colts owner Jim Irsay voluntarily checked into a health care treatment center after he was arrested in Carmel on DWI charges linked to prescription pills.
(snip)
When police stopped Irsay late Sunday, they found several prescription drugs in pill bottles in his car and he was preliminarily charged with driving under the influence and four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Police said the drugs found in Irsay's car weren't associated with the prescription bottles found inside.

Maybe Limbaugh can buy the team from him.
This loser is an acceptable owner to the NFL, but Rush isn’t.
Addiction to prescription medications is not a funny or joking matter. I hope Mr. Irsay can get the help he needs to get off of this horrible tread mill
We all know that the powers that be would never allow that to happen.
But it would be delicious irony.
Yep, yep, yep ...
The Irsays are still resented for their midnight move of the Colts.
Karma?
Irsay made a choice.
I’m just glad nobody was killed or maimed because of his choices.
This has been brewing for years. Irsay is 54 but looks 74. He has a serious problem, but given that he owns an NFL franchise, I wonder if he’ll ever hit rock bottom and get cleaned up.
Don’t think folks are commenting because of his addiction if he hadnt been a primary instigator in keeping Rush from buying into the NFL using his addiction as an excuse
He really should have not thrown stones
Checking into rehab or attending AA shows “remorse.”
I knew two people charged with DUI. Neither was an alcoholic, but as part of their plea deal, both agreed to attend AA.
“Irsay is 54 but looks 74”
He’s 3 years older than me and looks like he could be my father. Terrible.
When I first heard on the car radio today I instantly thought of the Limbaugh angle.
No doubt ESPN wii be sure to mention it. Extra heavy duty /s/
Wonder if he’s nuked his ears like Rush.
What ?
Guess so!
Rush has turned his show into mostly an infomercial to sell his kids books. It’s really sad to see.
You don't think it's important work he's doing?
