Amanda Marcotte rides again, and she’s still really, really stupid.
For those that don’t remember, Marcotte was the femi-blogger who made this jewel of a comment about the Duke lacrosse rape case (excerpted for profanity)”
“I had to listen [on CNN] to how the poor dear lacrosse players at Duke are being persecuted just because they held someone down and ****** her against her will—not rape, of course, because the charges have been thrown out. Can’t a few white boys sexually assault a black woman anymore without people getting all wound up about it? So unfair.”
So yeah, I’m not surprised she made the latest statements. Marcotte is basically the new Andrea Dworkin.

My recollection of Andrea Dworkin is that, ever though she had offensive views, she actually had a brain. Also perhaps the ability to write and speak coherently without constant swearing. But, I could be wrong.
