Word For The Day, Tuesday March 18, 2014
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

La velocidad de los trenes japoneses es increíble.
The speed of Japanese trains is amazing.
I think it’s fantastic that she is doing that on Sunday nights. Is it for young people? What are they studying?
The math is on our side.
The idiodemocratic news media are to blame for excusing and promoting the destruction caused by the Obama regime, but - then again - they “believe” in it a THEIR faith and moral foundation.

i am comfortable with having God know that i am willing to sacrifice yummy desserts for the entire length of lent, you be comfortable abiding by the letter of the law ; )
yes, it’s for young people. i need to have her find out if she can contribute in some way for the food. one of her friends is a parishioner there and i imagine it’s coming out of the church budget, but i feel with her eating dinner there every sunday, she should contribute in some way. i will have to ask her what they are studying.
I think of it as a thoughtful concession to human nature.
How about the last snow post of the winter.......the last post in frigid temperatures of the winter. Who cares what the dang calendar says, if it’s STILL cold and snowy.
Our priest officially announced that it is our choice to take Sundays off or not, either way is good. I, too, am fasting for Lent. Lost some weight already. I didn’t go without all desserts, though...a couple of times a week I indulge. I hadn’t realized how much stuff just pops into my mouth between meals, though. I am finding it’s too easy to do now that I am well into Lent. Hopefully, I can keep it up after.
I am off for my day...breakfast, Mom’s prayer group this morning, mass, then the doctor’s office. I am falling apart. RME Hopefully, we can do the knee injections again. My left knee is giving me problems.
Just read a really good book...I highly recommend it. “Heaven is Here”, by Stephanie Nielson. She has a blog, the NieNie Dialogues. The book is the story of her plane crash and recovery. I alternately smiled and cried my way through the book. Quite a journey, and quite a lot of faith in God.
I am sensing some exasperation.
Story of my life this last week. I am desperately in need of prayers.
Why would you show us that? You know T5 is scared of that happening to her SUV.
idiosyncratic - a phenomenon that occurs when idiots synchronize their thoughts, beliefs and activities with those of the Democratic Party.
i was worried it was going to keel over off the bridge!
la velocidad que estamos en transición hacia la primavera no es lo suficientemente rápido para mí.
and i think of it as lowering the bar ; )
i will say some for you! i know the winter is long and hard up there and it takes a mental toll.
Holy carp! I drove trucks in winter before I went to college, and it sure felt like that some days when i was driving way out west, but I sure never flipped a rig. That’s scary stuff!
Skip the poison ivy, add some capers and a little kosher salt and you have awesomeness in your hand! YUMMMMMMMM!!!!
I’ll take that over donuts or any sweets for breakfast any day of the week!
