Word For The Day, Tuesday March 18, 2014
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

La velocidad de los trenes japoneses es increíble.
The speed of Japanese trains is amazing.
so it won’t really be homemade tasting then, well i guess there can be those same ladies starting their own small biz and offering their catering services to people for weddings there.
Location, location-I’ve no idea what it costs now, but when MrT5 and I got married, the out-in-the-country wedding venues were all the rage-still not as pricey as in the city though-we booked at one of the more popular ones, about 25 miles from here. The price per plate for the buffet wasn’t bad with the steamboat round, shrimp, etc.
The cub’s reception a few years later was nearly twice as much at one of the chichi one-price-for-all places in the city.
Since the “faithfools” are beginning to bail on Obama as his Ship-of-State is plummeting, would that make the Dems the IdiotSinkRatic Party ??
That is really reasonable-we paid about $23-24 per person in ‘93 and it was just for the food and service. The bar, hall and everything else was priced separately.
we knew from the start we wanted it at Army Navy CC, so we didn’t shop around for anything else. xshub is very experienced at negotiating food and beverage contracts because of his job and the events his company has, so he’s pretty much in charge of all of that.
that is perfect!!
We had to hire a DJ and photographer separately as well.
Guess we are all getting older.
Pilsner Urquell...
For the guests that do...
The only true Pilsner on the Planet.
Good call.
My favorite, by a country mile.....
On Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations, when he goes to Prague, he does a walk thru of the brewery..
Prague, A city of Pork,Fried Cheese,and Beer.....
It only needs NFL Sunday Ticket to be Heaven on Earth...
Prague was on our short list as was Rome. In the end we decided to chase leprachauns.

Let me know if you want to hear any of my old Ireland knowledge. We went for our honeymoon and drove around the west, staying at B&B’s most nights. We did spend one night at Dromoland castle.
Of course, it was a different time then. You could smoke in the pubs and there was no such thing as a “Euro.”
I should have been born Italian! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of a cookie table. Cookies are my favorite dessert - I will send some recipes for French macaroons. What are your daughters colors? The book i have lists various flavors associated with color
I’d love to hear about it. shoot me a freepmail.
Just checked out the Dromoland Castle Hotel. Holey moley that’s expensive.
