I’ve had an F3HP, a D70, a D90, a D7000, a D800, a D600, and now a D7100.
And many nikkors have come and gone, currently have about eight or nine.
My D600 had the flash button freeze up last year. They found a spot on the sensor that wouldn’t clean off, and Nikon replaced the sensor free of charge. I have a buddy who wants to buy it, and I haven’t fired it up since i got it back.
The other day, I got an email from Nikon saying they were being recalled to fix the sensor problem. I guess I’ll need to call them to see if I already have the upgraded sensor.
I’m keeping the D7100 for lightweight/travel, and the D800 for when I break out the RRS tripod and get serious.
Need to ass I also had a D2X—beautiful image quality but a real beast to lug around.
