I noticed an odd thing at the last Halloween party I went to.
Women swarmed Vera and begged to hold her and have their pictures taken with her.
All but a few men freaked out.
Almost seems a bit Freudian.

I’ve noticed that as well. Women are more likely to become accustomed to snakes then men are. Personally, I like snakes more than most people.
I’ve noticed the same thing about most guys.
I ended up with a large population on snakes in one of my sheds a few years ago and asked all the guys I knew that might have a clue how to get them gone. All of them just shivered and said “eeeww”.
