Never seen the movie but have the title song on a CD of music from great Western shows and films. It’s a great, rousing song!
Blazing Saddles was only 8 years behind this movie.
Seth McFarlane has a new movie coming out (this summer?) called “A Million Ways to Die in the West.” It actually looks pretty funny. Unfortunately, I read that Bill Maher may be in it, so that’s bound to understandably turn folks away.
Arg! Blazing Saddles was 9 years after.
“The Hallelujah Trail” plays like a G-rated, family friendlier version of “Blazing Saddles”(not so much plot-wise but genre-wise). It’s well worth seeing.
