You might be right. Or it might be competition. Given the way our government and the Fed Reserve are hellbent on devaluing the Federal Reserve Note (for it is not a U.S. Dollar) it practically begs for a competitor.

Me, I'm old school. I'll keep hedging with gold - the vast bulk of it purchased before it went north of 400FRN/oz. If only it hadn't fallen overboard in that boating accident.
