A PRC takedown is very much in play. It would have crossed into China's airspace as a UFO not responding to communications. Not knowing what it was they wouldn't hesitated taking it down. After the fact they would have covered it up especially when most of the passengers were Chinese nationals.

Good point. I’m sure China’s trigger fingers are itchy considering the recent knife attacks by separatists in China. It could’ve been Chinese terrorists who commandeered this flight.
