I’ve had dengue fever and it’s a memorable experience, just not in a good way. It’s also called “bone break fever” for reasons I can well appreciate. Oddly enough, none of my in-laws have ever had it.

Dengue is well known here in the Philippines, but I have never heard of Chikungunya Fever.
I know one American child here that had Dengue, with full recovery.

We’ve been doing bareboat cruises in the USVI and BVI almost every year since 1999 and I don’t ever remember even encountering any Mosquitos. You’ll be okay.

Thanks. There’s a CDC warning posted and talk on cruise forums about a fair number of cases.
Given the winter we’ve had, I willing to take the chance, LOL.
