Use the formula Speed = Distance divided by Time.
Distance is Track Length, and Lap Time into Hours.
Once hour is 3600 seconds,
so the calculation for a 48 second lap at Daytona(2.5 miles) would be: Speed = 2.5 x (3600/48), = 2.5 x 75 = 187.500mph.
For a 19 second lap at Bristol(.533 miles): Speed = .533 x (3600/19), = .533 x 189.474 = a speed of 100.990mph

Have cooler of beer next to couch.
Open beer #1 and start drinking when the Green Flag drops.
Continue drinking beer until the Checkered Flag drops ending Qualifying session.
While TV Broadcast Crew babbles away and the Lineup scrolls across the screen, count Your empties on the floor.
Have one of the Kids divide the Time it will take to go to Store and restock beer supply by the # of empties on the floor.
Thank the kid and tell them to ask the Teacher to check the work on Monday.
Send Wife/Girlfriend to store for more beer.
Take a Nap.
