its prob genetic, bc my dogs have never lacked for the rawhide chews, the braided bully sticks etc. I do not give them any table scraps at all. They get boiled chicken mixed in with their food, just a few little pieces, and Chan is getting her pills buried in pieces of chicken bc she got tired of the salt-free peanut butter i was coating them in. Its much easier to find the made in USA treats now and petsmart has a big selection.

I’ve noticed too that there are almost no Chinese dog treats in the pet section of the grocery store now-or even in the dollar stores, which is great because before I was going to great lengths to avoid the Chinese stuff out of fear of poisoning my dog...

I just happened to remember that a few years ago we were discussing the disgusting ingredients listed on the labels of some of the dog chews here...

Pill pockets work great. Just pop the pill in the smelly things and squeeze them shut. Looks and smells like treats.
