Apparently, on this thread, dogs have no free will!
That said, my parents had a German Shepherd named Kessie...now, that dog liked ice cream, and who could blame it.
But one day, my dad and I had been talking in the kitchen, and went back on the porch where he had left his cup of coffee, and Kessie had her long, pointy, snout in the mug, lustilly lapping the brown liquid!
My dad stared in amazement. then looked at me with a big grin and said
“She’s a Kaffeehund!”
He wondered why he was going through coffee so fast!
Yep. You’ve probably heard the old saying, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.”
Well, you can lead a dog to beer or coffee, but you can’t make him drink, unless he wants to.
