Most folks probably don't realize the Rio Grande starts in Colorado, runs down the middle of New Mexico, and then becomes the border between TX and Mexico.

I cross the Rio Grande twice a day commuting to/from work, right here in the Albuquirky metro area.

I appreciate the sentiments, too but agree with Ditter. I’m of Hispanic ancestry and I say “mojado”, like most of the native Texans of my ancestry do. It isn’t even considered an insult here-wet is wet-just a statement of fact in Spanish or English...

Thanks for the words of encouragement. But it's not just the terminology. It's my whole spirit of discourse. Ever since Carter took office I've been filled with nothing but loathing for everybody who contributes to the destruction of the greatest country on earth. I hate them. Literally.

The Carters. Clintons. Obama. Illegals. Homosexuals. Liberals. Muslims. To name a few.

And that's wrong. Hence, the sin. I'm also a Christian. Jesus' Sermon on the Mount forbids the way I express my feelings.

I don't have to "feel" love for my enemies, but I do have to "show" love. Instead, I've shown the opposite. I've shown the most virulent, vicious side I've got. That's got to change.
