We have a huge problem with ministers of most churches learning intellectually, the bible and the truth, then repeating it to their followers. This is a false and weak representation of God and the very reason we are losing our nation and world!
He isn’t Mormon either, but I have seen some ‘new light’ theology in groups like Master’s that do reject the Trinity.
I am sorry...but you don’t have a clue the holy spirit works its magic. You would have called the new Christians after Pentecost, members of a cult because they were given magical knowledge from above, just as all real Christians do today.. You may wish to be, but right now you only have head knowledge of the truth and that does not save.
More dopey Royianity. Keep it coming, the more exposure this gets the better.
The holy spirit is magical! And real Christians receive him and express him just like it was on the first Pentecost. But you lost souls don’t really know about that...too busy believing in a cult like church that is all about a trinity doctrine and not real life! And of course their is a holy spirit, father, and son, but not in the way that the apostate church teaches and brainwashes you guys to believe
With all due respect, I am lead by the Holy Spirit daily. My eyes are open to the truth and I walk in the Spirit. If fact the Holy Spirit always cautions me that we must look to the word of God for truth and not any man. My pastor teaches us to never believe what any man says; always go to the word of God and confirm it. And do not allow anyone to twist Gods word. That is what satan did in the garden.
A lay person who blithely does an exorcism is asking for trouble.
You can’t diagnose diabolic possession or even diabolic oppression (which is more common) and you can do a lot of harm “exorcizing” someone who is highly suggestible with a conversion reaction. And if you try it on a delusional paranoid schizophrenic, you could end up being attacked.
Exorcisms need “prayer and fasting” but they also need holiness, a sound mind, a loving heart, and humility.
As for not being a good preacher (which was the title of all of this), well, I know a lot of very good and holy priests who can’t preach a damn (excuse my language) and then there are great preachers who fall into pride and sin because everyone loves their way of preaching.
Please keep talking, dance around in your magic show, it’s good stuff.
“always go to the word of God and confirm it”
wrong...the holy spirit wrote the new testament, and you need no confirmation for it within you...it IS THE confirmation within in a wordless way!
It's just if what the caller says is true, and anyone who has had the Sacrament of Confirmation has the God-given authority, then The Church has the potential to swiftly raise an army of real spiritual warriors against the demonic forces so manifestly in charge of so many of our leaders.
Could there be so few as 50 righteous people within the lay Catholics to go 50:1 on a demon influencing a single politician?
Or would you cast your Lot that we passively go the way of Sodom?
You did not address my valid points...oh well.
Magic? Yeah, that's really valid, I apologize for disputing your and Roy's magic. I'll round up the magic beans, have hymns accompanied by the magic flute, use our wands and voodoo dolls, while watching the Harry Potter films in the Great Hall at Hogwarts.
my points are valid...especially about Pentecost, but you are caught up in judging me and Roy. What a great example of a christian! Not!
God's Word has already judged you. Pointing that out isn't a personal judgement of my own, yet I agree with it.
You have not shown that at all...and I made a very valuable point that the Christians in the first Pentecost were blessed , yes, magically, you connote evil to that word, but you don’t see that it truly is miraculous..magical...that people even of today...are blessed with in filled understanding without the need to “verify” truth by the bible...after all, it is the holy spirit that wrote that bible! Sadly, people like you have a fake version of salvation, the very topic of my post. Do you really think that the disciples carried around a book to refer to all the time, like you guys do? They did not need to! Any neither should we. Of course they did not have it then, but the point still remains, was totally unnecessary!
1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
that is correct...including about the spirit of false Christianity..the spirit of apostasy which is rampant in the churches of today. Sadly.

Again
2 Timothy 3:16

ALL scripture. Does NOT say we are to trust people who say they have the magic of the Holy Spirit, we are to trust the inspired word of God. Evil people can say they have the Holy Spirits magic. Why do you call it magic?
1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
I have seen personally people who claimed to be filled with the Holy Spirit and do evil things. That is why we trust Gods unchanging word and not imperfect people. We are ALL imperfect, Gods word is perfect.
Do a word search for 'magic' or 'magician' in the Bible, get back to me with any verses that laud the practice of it.

I trust the inspired word of God, but have seen MANY people who claim the Holy Spirit inspired them to....do...or say.....and their talk and actions do not reflect Gods word.

still..you avoid my most important point.
