Well, that makes you a rare kind of skeptic indeed. Most of these FR pseudoskeptics won't read anything. They prefer to be ignorant.
It’s a good book so far, I recommend it to anyone interested in this effect. It also has some good illustrations of the different types of cells and experiment setups.
I knew it took a long time for the P&F cell to produce excess heat but it took over 50 days for the power burst so anyone trying to recreate the effect needs to keep that in mind.
The controversy over the original P&F experiment not having a mechanical stirrer doesn’t make sense since they had control cells so not stirring the cells should have had the control cells have the power burst as well. The Baltimore meeting and the attack against both Pons and Fleischmann was really sleazy.
